dc.description.abstract	В статье анализируется роль педагогических курсов в системе профессиональной подготовки учителей Беларуси в начале ХХ в. Дана характеристика нормативно-правовой базы создания и деятельности курсов, их материальной обеспеченности, организации учебного процесса, а также развитию сети этих учебных заведений. Сделан вывод, что, несмотря на короткий срок обучения и недостаток средств на эффективную организацию учебных занятий, в рассматриваемый период педагогические курсы являлись учреждением не только желательным, но и необходимым
