| Abstract: | В статье обосновывается роль исторической памяти в процессе формирования и укрепления народного единства Беларуси. На основе результатов социологического исследования авторами выделены компоненты исторической памяти, способствующие консолидации белорусского общества, среди которых особая роль отводится государственным, народным праздникам и памятным датам. Отмечается, что жители страны воспринимают Беларусь преимущественно как свою Родину. Установлено, что большая часть населения Беларуси относит себя к патриотам, понимая под патриотизмом главным образом любовь к Родине. |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article substantiates the role of historical memory in the process of formation and strengthening of the national unity of Belarus. Based on the results of a sociological study the authors identified components of historical memory that contribute to the consolidation of the Belarusian society among which a special role is given to state, folk holidays and memorable dates. Notes that the inhabitants of the country perceive Belarus mainly as their Motherland. It has been established that most of the Belarusian population consider themselves to be patriots. They understand patriotism as love to the Motherland. |
