| Abstract: | В статье определяется специфика пикарескного романа французского писателя ХХ века Ромена Гари. Концепция пикарескного романа, представленная им в цикле «Брат Океан», куда входят литературно-критическое эссе «За Сганареля. Поиски персонажа и романа» и романы «Пляска Чингиз-Хаима» и «Повинная голова», обобщает философско-эстетические поиски писателя и органично вписывается в историко-литературный контекст эпохи, отражая переход от неоавангарда к постмодернизму. Согласно Р. Гари, именно образ пикаро включает в себя функциональные аспекты, определяющие сущность искусства: вызов данности человеческого бытия, неприятие его жестких пределов (биологических, исторических, социальных), соперничество с реальностью и обоснование игровой модели художественного творчества. От традиционной пикарески романы Ромена Гари наследуют тип героя-пикаро, в цикле воплощенный в образе Чингиз-Кона, сюжет как цепь мошенничеств и игру в маски, критику социальных установок и стереотипов. Основная стратегия пикаро Ромена Гари, объединяющая автора и героя, – провокация социально-культурных норм и правил путем их пародирования и мистификации |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article defines the specificity of the picaresque novel of Romain Gary, a French writer of the 20th century. His concept of the picaresque novel, presented in the cycle «Brother Ocean», which includes the literary and critical essay «For Sganarelle. The Search for the Character and the Novel» and the novels «The Dance of Genghis Cohn» and «The Guilty Head», generalizes the philosophical and aesthetical research of the writer and organically fits into the historical and literary context of the era, reflecting the transition from the neo-avant-garde to postmodernism. According to R. Gary, it is the picaro image that incorporates the functional aspects that define the essence of art: the challenge to the reality of human existence, rejection of its rigid limits (biological, historical, social), competition with the reality and the justification of the game model of artistic creativity. Romain Gary's novels inherit the type of hero-picaro from a traditional picaresque, that is embodied in the cycle in the image of Genghis Cohn, the plot is presented as a chain of frauds and game of masks, criticism of social attitudes and stereotypes. The main strategy of Romain Gary's picaro, which unites the author and the hero, is the provocation of social and cultural norms and rules through their parody and mystification |
