| Abstract: | В статье определяется значимость постколониализма для историографии. Отмечается критика постколониализма как абстрактной теории, концентрирующей все внимание на колониализме и игнорирующей изучение других этапов исторического процесса. Однако, как указывается в статье, постколониализм позволяет перестроить исторический рассказ, переместив его центр с изучения человека во времени, с хронологического описания событий на критику колониальной власти. Благодаря переоценке колониальной обусловленности большинства наших представлений об истории, об Азии, в частности об Индии, появляется возможность более свободного и полного исторического описания. |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article defines the significance of postcolonialism for historiography. There is criticism of post-colonialism as an abstract theory that focuses all attention on colonialism and ignores the study of other stages of the historical process. However, as the article points out, on the other hand, post-colonialism allows the historical narrative to be restructured, shifting its focus from the study of man in time, from the chronological description of events, to the critique of colonial power. Based on a reassessment of the colonial conditions of most of our ideas about history, about Asia, in particular about India, the possibility of a freer and more complete historical description appears. |
