Abstract: | Humans are emotional beings, they make purchases under the influence of emotions, especially when it comes to "shopping for pleasure". There is a hunter who lives inside all of us and is always eager to chase a good deal. Since advertisers took into consideration this “basic instinct”, they have developed certain marketing tricks that make a consumer think that they will get a deal even if there is a slim chance of it. Nowadays marketers are skillful at tricking people’s mind and making them spend more money. The purpose of the article is to make a survey of these tricks, to evaluate their effectiveness in making people spend money. The article outlines the psychological impact of marketing tricks and their practical experience throughout the world. Considerable attention is given to the analysis of psychological research data conducted among students |
