dc.description.abstractIn this paper the problem of statistical testing of random and pseudorandom sequences is considered. Estimators of Shannon, R´enyi and Tsallis entropy functionals are proposed as test statistics. Decision on accepting the hypothesis on pure “randomness” of binary sequence is made by its entropy profile. Stochastic dependence of Shannon entropy for s- and (s+1)-tuples evaluated. The software package for entropy analysis of discrete sequences is developed
