Abstract:	By analyzing the main factors of the desertification process in the studied area, a desertification map was drawn up. In order to determine the dynamics of desertification, risk maps were prepared based on the NDVI indicators of space images of the area and a comparative analysis was carried out. It has been established that the dynamics of desertification manifests itself in different directions, depending on the characteristics of desertification factors and landscapes, as well as melioration measures
