Abstract: This paper presents a study of the applicability boundary of the well-known quantum field theory. Based on the results of black hole thermodynamics, it is shown that this boundary may be lying at a level of the energy scales much lower than the Planck. The direct inferences from these results are given, specifically for estimation of a cosmological term within the scope of the quantum field theory.
