dc.description.abstractВысшая школа Беларуси в начале прошлого века прошла сложный период становления. В пределах СССР доминировало стремление к развитию узкопрофильного образования и уничтожению университетов, что и произошло в ходе реформы 1930 г. повсеместно в советских республиках. В БССР же была избрана усредненная модель: БГУ сохранили, а вот Горецкая академия и Минский политехнический институт прекратили свое существование, став основой более чем 15 институтов. В ходе этой реформы в Гомеле появился первый технический вуз.ru

Within the USSR, the desire for the development of narrow-profile education and the destruction of universities dominated, which happened during the reform of 1930 everywhere in the Soviet republics. In the BSSR, an average model was chosen: the BSU was preserved, but the Goretsky Academy and the Minsk Polytechnic Institute ceased to exist, becoming the basis of more than 15 institutes. In the course of this reform, the first technical university appears in Gomel.ru
