| Abstract: | В статье анализируется роль земледелия в авестийском обществе. Как одно из основных хозяйственных занятий земледелие распространяется в период сложения Младшей Авесты. Отдельного термина для обозначения земледельцев Авеста не знает, терминология, связанная с занятием земледелием, развита достаточно слабо. Хозяйственные функции земледельцев, по сути, подчинены религиозной доктрине и ритуальной системе зороастризма. Статус земледелия в обществе связан с дуалистическими представлениями о борьбе добра и зла, представлениями о сакральности земли |
| Abstract (in another language): | The role of agriculture in Avestan society is analyzed in the article. As one of the main economic occupations, agriculture spreads during the formation of the Younger Avesta. Avesta doesn’t know a separate term for denoting farmers, the terminology associated with farming is rather poorly developed. The economic functions of farmers, in fact, are subordinated to the religious doctrine and ritual system of Zoroastrianism. The status of agriculture in society is associated with dualistic ideas about the struggle between good and evil, ideas about the sacredness of the earth |
