| Abstract: | В работе рассматривается проблема идентификации нескольких ранневизантийских litterati – интеллектуалов в области гуманитарного знания, которые носили одно и то же имя Зосим. Наиболее известен из них историк Зосим, автор проязыческого сочинения рубежа V–VI вв., однако о его биографии почти ничего не известно. Более запутанной выглядит ситуация с остальными. Предлагается анализ имеющихся в историографии точек зрения и оценивается степень убедительности предлагаемых гипотез |
| Abstract (in another language): | The paper deals with the problem of identifying several early Byzantine litterati – intellectuals in the field of humanitarian knowledge, who bore the same name Zosimus. The most famous of them is the historian Zosimus, the author of a pro-pagan work at the turn of the 5th–6th centuries, but almost nothing is known about his biography. The situation with the others looks more confusing. An analysis of the points of view available in historiography is offered and the degree of persuasiveness of the proposed hypotheses is assessed |
