| Abstract: | Данная статья посвящена изучению развития семантики турецкого прилагательного tatlı ‘сладкий’. Выявлено, что в процессе своего развития данное прилагательное проходит транскатегориальный метонимический сдвиг и начинает употребляться с глаголами, а также метафорически переосмысляется в сторону передачи положительной оценки чего-либо. В части контекстов исходная гастическая семантика полностью утрачивается, что трактуется, как ребрендинг. Результаты исследования могут быть использованы для дальнейшего изучения моделей семантической деривации прилагательных |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article is devoted to the investigation of semantics of the Turkish adjective tatlı ‘sweet’. It is revealed that during its semantic development this adjective undergoes a trans-categorical metonymic shift and thus can be used with verbs, and its meaning is also metaphorically extended to expressing positive assessment. In some context the original gustatory semantics is completely lost, which may be treated as rebranding. The results of the research may be used for further studies of models of semantic derivation of adjectives |
