| Abstract (in another language): | The article summarizes the main directions of work on recording events related to military events on the territory of Belarus during the First World War, and their reflection on the pages of popular brochures that appeared in Russia during the war years, in memoirs and scientific literature published in the interwar period in the Soviet Union (works of Russian specialists, translations of foreign works into Russian), as well as emigrant publishing houses abroad.
