| Abstract: | Изложены основные определения размера поля и разница между геометрическим и радиационным размерами у малых полей. Описаны изменения в энергетическом спектре фотонов с уменьшением размера поля. Показано, что размер полной ширины на половине максимума (full width at half maximum – FWHM) латерального профиля пучка является наиболее показательным и существенным параметром размера поля для точной дозиметрии малых полей. При описании данных по малым полям рекомендуется указывать как FWHM, так и геометрический размер поля |
| Abstract (in another language): | The basic definitions of the field size and the difference between the geometric and radiation dimensions of small fields are described. Changes in the energy spectrum of photons with decreasing field size are described. It is shown that the full width at half maximum (FWHM) size of the lateral beam profile is the most indicative and essential parameter of the field size for accurate dosimetry of small fields. When describing data on small fields, it is recommended to specify both the FWHM and the geometric size of the field |
