| Abstract: | Рассматриваются свойства и сущностные характеристики процессов проверки информации в теории и практике журналистики. Целью статьи является конкретизация семантических границ понятий «верификация» и «фактчекинг». Актуальность исследования обусловлена возникшей ситуацией терминологической неопределенности ввиду отсутствия четких семантических границ между понятиями «верификация», «фактчекинг» и «проверка информации». Результаты исследования обозначают пути разрешения терминологической неопределенности в области проверки информации в журналистике. |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article provides the features and essential characteristics of processes of verification in the theory and practice of journalism. The purpose of the article is to concretise the semantic confines of the concepts of «verification» and «fact-checking». The relevance of the study is conditioned by the situation of terminological uncertainty that has appeared in the theory and practice of journalism because of the absence of clear semantic confines between the concepts of «verification», «fact-checking». The results of the study determine the ways to resolve terminological uncertainty in the sphere of processes of verification in journalism. |
