| Abstract: | В статье проведен ретроспективный анализ сотрудничества Республики Беларусь и Организации Североатлантического договора в рамках программы «Партнёрство ради мира». Рассматриваются международные инициативы альянса, в которых приняла участие Беларусь. Основными задачами работы являются характеристика взаимоотношений Беларуси и Североатлантического альянса в конце ХХ – начале XХI вв. в рамках программы «Партнёрства», участия Беларуси в Стамбульском саммите 1999 г., определение позиции Беларуси по поводу деятельности блока и взаимодействия с ним, а также выявление наиболее вероятных векторов сотрудничества республики и альянса в условиях новой системы международных отношений |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article provides a retrospective analysis of cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization within the framework of the Partnership for Peace program. The international initiatives of the alliance, in which Belarus took part, are being considered. The main objectives of the work are to characterize the relationship between Belarus and the North Atlantic Alliance in the late XX – early XXI centuries within the framework of the Partnership program, Belarus' participation in the Istanbul Summit in 1999, determining Belarus' position on the activities of the bloc and interaction with it, as well as determining the most likely vectors of cooperation between the republic and the alliance in the new system of international relations |
