| Abstract: | В соответствии с договорными обязательствами стран-членов Организации Договора о коллективной безопасности с 6 по 19 января 2022 года была проведена операция по защите стратегических объектов Республики Казахстан, которые оказались под угрозой в результате массовых беспорядков в стране. Операция была успешной, так как в считанные часы властям удалось стабилизировать обстановку. Данная операция показала эффективность механизма обеспечения коллективной безопасности на постсоветском пространстве. После январских событий страна взяла курс на реформирование власти, который в долгосрочной перспективе должен позитивно сказаться на политическом и экономическом развитии Казахстана. Данный пример показывает насколько важно членство в ОДКБ не только для внешней безопасности, но и для внутренней стабильности стран-членов данной организации |
| Abstract (in another language): | In accordance with the commitments of the member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, from January 6 to January 19, 2022, an operation of this organization was carried out to protect the strategic facilities of the Republic of Kazakhstan which were under threat as a result of protests in the country. The operation was successful, as the authorities managed to stabilize the situation in several hours. This operation demonstrated the effectiveness of mechanism of maintaining collective security in the post-Soviet space and. After the January events, the country took a course towards reforming the government, which should have a positive impact on the political and economic development of Kazakhstan in a long-term perspective. This example demonstrates how important membership in the CSTO is not only for external security, but also for the internal stability of the member-states of this organization |
