| Abstract: | В статье рассмотрены основные сценарии мирового развития в прогнозах российских и американских экспертов, опубликованные в двух докладах – «Международные угрозы 2021» и «Global Trends 2040». Охарактеризованы отношения между ведущими политическими и экономическим центрами мира: Соединёнными Штатами, Европейским союзом, Россией, Китаем. Выделены общие точки зрения, характерные для обоих докладов (в частности, нарастание американо-китайского соперничества, усиление научно-технологической конкуренции ведущих государств мира), а также различия (роль России в будущей системе международных отношений). Сделан вывод о том, что среди прогнозируемых трендов наибольшее влияние на внешнюю политику и национальную безопасность Республики Беларусь будет оказывать усиление американо-китайских и американо-российских противоречий, а также способность ведущих государств справиться с последствиями пандемии коронавируса и глобального потепления |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article examines the main scenarios of world development in the forecasts of Russian and American experts, published in two reports – “International Threats 2021” and “Global Trends 2040”. The relations between the leading political and economic centers of the world are characterized: particularly, between the United States, the European Union, Russia, China. The common points of view in both of reports are highlighted (in particular, the growth of American-Chinese rivalry, the strengthening of scientific and technological competition of the leading countries of the world), as well as differences (the role of Russia in the future system of international relations). It is concluded that among the forecasted trends, the greatest impact on the foreign policy and national security of the Republic of Belarus will be exerted by the strengthening of the American-Chinese and American-Russian contradictions, as well as the ability of the leading states to cope with the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic and global warming |
