| Abstract: | Статья рассматривает фрагменты английских и чешских переводов Псалтыри XIV – XVII вв.: а именно Псалтыри Виклиффа 1370 г., Библии Виклиффа 1395 г., Чешской Библии 1506 г. и Кралицкой Библии 1613 г. Рассмотрению подверглись фрагменты Псалтыри, которые содержат упоминания gOy / εθνος, сопоставленные с каноническими вариантами этих текстов: Танаха, Септуагинты и Вульгаты. Выводы: 1. Рассматриваемые переводы не являются прямыми переводами канонических текстов; 2. Перевод Виклиффа гораздо ближе к Вульгате, чем рассмотренные славянские тексты, хотя влияние переводов Виклиффа в них заметно. 3. Старочешский перевод 1506 г. и вариант Кралицкой Библии отличаются степенью влияния на них Септуагинты и Танаха. 4. Использование слов в значении «язычник» в славянских переводах является следствием средневекового западноевропейского влияния |
| Abstract (in another language): | The paper revises fragments of English and Czech translations of Psalms, published in XIV – XVII centuries: The Psalms by Wycliffe of 1370, The Wycliffe Bible of 1395, the Czech Bible of 1506 and the Kralicka Bible of 1613. All the ones’ fragments with mentioning gOy / εθνος have been compared to canonical versions of these texts: the Tanakh, The Septuagint and the Vulgate. Conclusions. 1. The texts revised are not the literary translations of the initial texts; 2. The Wycliffe’s translations are much closer to the Vulgate texts, than the revised Slavic texts, though the former influence to the latter ones is evident. 3. The Old Czech translation of 1506 and the version of Kralicka Bible differ reasonably due to their dependence on the Tanakh and Septuagint texts. 4. The usage of words with the meaning of "pagan" in Slavic translations is a result of medieval West European influence |
