| Abstract: | Проникновение иностранного капитала в Китайскую империю происходило в крайне недружественной, по отношению к Китаю, форме. Российская империя, кроме экономических связей также имела политические соглашения с Китаем. Так, Россия имела соглашение о взаимной обороне с Китаем против третьих стран, и обязательство не использовать свои железные дороги для торговых целей. Несмотря на это, Российская империя активно участвует в интервенции в Китай с целью подавления восстания ихэтуаэней (боксёров), которое угрожало экономически интересам Российской империи. Разрушительная интервенция, а также оккупация и удержание Маньчжурии Россией, стали причиной полной утраты Китаем веса в международных делах. В России же, тем не менее, господствовали оптимистические настроения о нерушимости союза с Китаем |
| Abstract (in another language): | The penetration of foreign capital into the Chinese Empire took place in an extremely unfriendly form in relation to China. The Russian Empire, in addition to economic connections, also had political agreements with China. Thus, Russia had an agreement on mutual defense with China against third countries, and an obligation not to use its railways for trade purposes. Despite this, the Russian Empire is actively participates in the intervention in China with the goal of suppressing the uprising of Yihetuan’s (Boxers), which threatened the economic interests of the Russian Empire. The devastating intervention, as well as the occupation and retention of Manchuria by Russia, became the reason for the complete loss of China's weight in international affairs. In Russia, however, optimistic sentiments about the inviolability of the alliance with China prevailed |
