| Abstract: | В статье рассматривается всаднический cursus honorum (главным образом в его наиболее значимом выражении – продвижении через прокураторские должности). Анализируются предполагаемые факторы, влиявшие на назначение эквитов на административные посты, а также на продвижение императорских назначенцев по должностной лестнице. Исследуется проблема «стандартной» всаднической карьеры. Вывод, к которому приходит автор, заключается в том, что хотя в науке со времен Х-Г.Пфлаума высказывается идея о существовании в период Принципата относительно независимой от воли императора схемы всаднической карьеры, однако ни эпиграфические, ни литературные памятники не подтверждают данного предположения. И напротив, наличный источниковый материал указывает, что в отличие от сенаторской карьеры, эквитский cursus honorum определялся только волей императора, что согласуется с изначально частноправовым характером римской прокураторы |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article deals with the equestrian cursus honorum (mainly in its most significant expression – promotion through procuratorial positions). The article analyzes the supposed factors that influenced the appointment of equits to administrative posts, as well as the promotion of the imperial appointees up the ranks. The problem of the “standard” equestrian career is investigated. The conclusion to which the author comes is although in science since the time of H.-G. Pflaum the idea of the existence of a relatively independent from the will of the emperor, a scheme of an equestrian career has been expressed in the Principate period, neither epigraphic nor literary monuments confirm this assumption. On the contrary, the available source material indicates that, in contrast to the senatorial career, the equestrian cursus honorum was determined only by the will of the emperor which is consistent with the originally private-law nature of the Roman procuratorship |
