| Abstract: | The Macedonia problem is shown to be the principal aspect of the growing diplomatic fight for political mastery on the Balkan peninsula. The events are analysed against a wide historical background and are considered within Yugoslav-Bulgarian-Greek territorial dispute, mainly due to Macedonia having its own history. The article reveals and analyses the development of Soviet views upon the problem of Macedonian regulation and its place in Soviet «revolutionary making» diplomacy in the Balkans. |
