| Abstract: | Рассматривается процесс создания статистических комитетов пяти белорусских губерний (Виленской, Витебской, Гродненской, Минской и Могилевской). Акцентируется внимание на законодательных документах, определяющих структуру комитетов и основные обязанности их членов. Раскрываются этапы создания СК белорусских губерний, причины эпизодической работы в первые годы после их открытия. Показывается роль секретаря и членов в деятельности ГСК. Делается вывод о существовании двух этапов в создании статистических комитетов белорусских губерний: первый — с момента основания в 1835 г. до начала 1860-х гг., второй — после реорганизации деятельности ГСК на основе Положения 1860 г. |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article deals with the process of creation of the Belarusian statistical committees of five provinces (Vilna, Vitebsk, Grodno, Minsk and Mogilev). The attention is focused on legislative documents, defining the structure of the committees and the main responsibilities of the members. Moreover, the article reveals the stages of creating the statistical committees of Belarusian provinces, as well as the reasons of episodic work in the early years after their creation. It shows the role of the Secretary and the members in the activities of PSC. It is concluded that there are two stages in the creation of the statistical committees of Belarusian provinces: first — since its foundation in 1835 until the early 1860-ies, the second — after the reorganization of PSC on the basis of Regulations 1860. |
