| Abstract: | Установление и развитие словацко-российских контактов в сфере науки, культуры и просвещения в XVIII в. было обусловлено взаимным устремлением российских ученых и словацких интеллектуалов найти общие подходы к историческому прошлому обоих народов в контексте просветительских концепций славянской взаимности. Культурный диалог не ограничился академическими связями, большое количество выходцев из Словакии оставили свой след в сфере медицины и гражданского строительства Российской империи. |
| Abstract (in another language): | The establishment and development of Slovak Russian contacts in such spheres as science, culture, and enlightenment in the 18 century was determined in many ways by the mutual aspiration of the scientists of Russian and Slovak intellectuals to find the common approaches towards the historical past of both peoples in the context of the educational concepts of Slavonic reciprocity. However the cultural dialogue was not limited to academic relations. A large number of emigrants from Slovakia influenced the spheres of medicine and civil engineering in the Russian Empire. |
