| Abstract: | Анализируются действия словацкой армии на Восточном фронте в период Второй мировой войны в качестве союзника гитлеровской Германии, затрагиваются некоторые аспекты словацкого национального восстания в 1944 г. На основе последних достижений историографии показано активное участие словацкой армии в военных действиях, в карательных операциях против мирного населения СССР, прежде всего на территории Краснодарского края. До коренного изменения в ходе Второй мировой войны словацкая армия действовала в качестве надежного союзника германского вермахта; фактов массовой сдачи словацких военнослужащих в плен Красной армии не наблюдалось. Только с изменением военно-политической обстановки в 1944 г. в Словакии активизировалась антифашистская деятельность, выразившаяся в словацком национальном восстании, однако значительная часть словацкой армии не проявляла стремления сражаться с вермахтом. |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article analyzes the actions of the Slovak army on Eastern front during the Second World War as a satellite of Nazi Germany. Also, the article deals with some aspects of the Slovak national uprising in 1944. Using the most recent Historiography on that issue, the author demonstrates the active role of Slovak army in the military actions as well as in conducting mass repressions against local civilians, especially in Krasnodar Krai in the Southern Russia. Till radical changes in the course of the Second World War in 1944, Slovak army acted as a reliable satellite of the German army; there were no facts of mass surrender of Slovak soldiers. Only after military and political changes in 1944 in favor of anti Hitler coalition, anti fascist movement in Slovakia became more active and prominent, which resulted in Slovak national uprising. However, significant part of Slovak army did not demonstrate any willingness to fight against German wehrmacht. |
