Abstract:	В конце октября 1924 г. французское правительство Э. Эррио официально признало советское правительство, и польские дипломатические круги были вынуждены интенсифицировать политические и военные отношения с Парижем. По инициативе министра иностранных дел А. Скрзинского Варшава пыталась добиться от Франции официального признания польских восточных границ. Так же польские дипломаты старались придерживаться четкой позиции в отношении СССР и влиять на содержание советской формулы признания. Эррио вынужден был искать компромисс между Москвой и Варшавой путем сближения с первой и в то же время защищая вопросы безопасности второй. Это явилось поворотной точкой в отношениях Франции и Польши, посеяв семена недоверия между этими странами.
Abstract (in another language):	When the French government headed by Edouard Herriot, officially recognized the Soviet government, in the late October 1924, the Polish diplomacy forcefully moved to strengthen political and military relations with her ally. Under the aegis of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Aleksander Skrzyński, Warsaw tried to lead France to an official recognition of Poland’s eastern frontiers. Also, the Polish diplomacy tried to keep diplomatic prominent situation towards the USSR and to influence the content of the Soviet recognition formula. Herriot had to find a compromise between Moscow and Warsaw, by approaching the first while supporting the security concerns of the latter. This episode was a turning point of the French Polish relation because of the mutual mistrust it created.
