Гэтая крыніца, дапаўняючы афіцыйную дакументацыю Міністэрства замежных спраў БССР, дазваляе апісаць атмасферу дыскусій у ААН, стан амерыкана-савецкіх адносін і асаблівасці ўспрыняцця прафесіі дыпламата ў 1950-я гг. Нягледзячы на ўнутрыпалітычную «адлігу» ў СССР і прыкметы «разрадкі» ў савецка-амерыканскіх адносінах у сярэдзіне 1950-х гг., дзённікі Глебкі сведчаць пра захаванне канфрантацыйнага характару міжнародных дэбатаў па венгерскаму крызісу |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article is devoted to the reflection of the debates on the Hungarian crisis of 1956 at the 11th session of the UN General Assembly in the diary records of the poet Piatro Hlebka. This source is complementary to the official documentation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Byelorussian SSR and describes atmosphere of the debates in the United Nations, the state of Soviet-American relations and the self-perception of Belarusian diplomats in the 1950s. Despite the domestic «thaw» in the USSR and signs of «detente» in Soviet-American relations in the mid-1950s, Hlebka’s diaries proves continuation of the confrontational nature of the international debate on the Hungarian crisis |
