| Abstract: | Национальные архивы (National Archives and Records Administration (NARA)) — независимое агентство правительства Соединённых Штатов Америки. После его создания в 1984 г. в его ведение были переданы немецкие трофейные документы периода 1933–1945 гг. Среди них – огромная масса источников, касающихся начального периода Великой Отечественной войны и установления оккупационного режима на территории Беларуси. Архивная судьба этих документов, их структура, особенности размещения и, самое главное, их содержание и возможности применения в исследованиях по истории Беларуси стали основными направлениями исследования. Отдельный интерес представляют аспекты Оборонительного сражения 1941 г. в Беларуси, не нашедшие отражения в опубликованных советских военных документах и воспоминаниях участников боёв, зато подробно рассмотренные «той стороной» |
| Abstract (in another language): | The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is an independent agency of the government of the United States of America. After its creation in 1984, German trophy documents of the period 1933–1945 were transferred to its jurisdiction. Among them – a huge mass of sources concerning the initial period of the Great Patriotic War and the establishment of an occupation regime on the territory of Belarus. The archival fate of these documents, their structure, peculiarities of placement and, most importantly, their content and possibilities of application in research on the history of Belarus have become the main directions of research. Of particular interest are aspects of the Defensive Battle in Belarus, which were not reflected in the published Soviet military documents and memoirs of the participants in the battles, but were considered in detail by the "other side" |
