Abstract:	The article addresses the issue of sexual harassment coverage in the mass media. The definition of sexual harassment is given and several practices that are covered by this concept are indicated. The correlation of the social, political and legal aspects of the sexual harassment problem is established. The influence of social movements as one of the modern forms of public response to this problem is analyzed. The question of the role of social networks in drawing public attention to the topic of sexual harassment is raised. The focus of the article is the critical assessment of the mass media activity in terms of sexual harassment coverage. It is concluded that the impact of the mass media on the public perception and understanding of the sexual harassment problem is ambivalent
