| Abstract: | Во многих европейских странах, включая Беларусь, сегодня наблюдается значительный спрос на ведение профильных курсов в системе высшего образования с использованием иностранного языка (английского) в качестве языка обучения. При введении таких курсов возникает ряд проблем как организационного, так и кадрового аспектов. В статье рассматриваются некоторые проблемы организации преподавания профильных дисциплин на иностранном языке как языке обучения в системе нелингвистических вузов. В качестве рекомендации автором предлагаются возможные способы их преодоления, нацеленные на повышение эффективности профессиональной подготовки будущих специалистов на иностранном (английском) языке как языке обучения, одним из которых является организация курсов ESP (English for Specific Purposes) для преподавателей профильных дисциплин на регулярной основе. |
| Abstract (in another language): | In many European countries, including Belarus, there is a significant demand for specialized vocational courses in the higher education system using a foreign language (English) as the language of instruction. With the introduction of such courses, a number of problems arise, both organizational and personnel aspects. The article examines some of the problems of organizing the teaching of vocational disciplines in a foreign language in the system of non-linguistic universities. As a recommendation, the author proposes possible ways to overcome the problems, aimed at in-creasing the effectiveness of professional foreign language training of future specialists, one of which is the organization of ESP (English for Specific Purposes) permanent courses for teachers of vocational disciplines. |
