Abstract: The lactate dehydrogenase (LDG) activity, the lactate and piruvate contents in the subcellular fractions of the rat brain after SHF-irradiation by the 12,5 cm and 8 mm wave-lengthes were determined. The power flux densities (PFD) were 7 mw/cm2 150 w/cm2. Our results indicated that SHF-irradiation caused the marked alterations of the LDG activity and the lactate and piruvate concentrations, that depended on the wave-length, PFD and the duration of the irradiation. Almost all alterations were reversible, because by the 7-th day the most indices get beck to normal ore had the marked tendency to normalization
