Abstract:	In this article are shown place and the role of small boroughs in the development of tourism, estimation of their tourist potential is given, the special features of territorial distribution are revealed, are represented the criteria of the favorableness of the development in them of tourism, the special features of the formation of tourist product are determined. = Показаны место и роль малых городских поселений в развитии туризма, дана оценка их туристского потенциала, выявлены особенности территориального распределения, представлены критерии благоприятности развития в них туризма, определены особенности формирования туристского продукта.
