| Abstract: | В статье охарактеризованы основные тенденции эволюции помощи психически больным людям на территории белорусских губерний в 1861–1914 гг. Отмечено, что за ними было закреплено право на лечение в медицинских учреждениях, входивших в структуру приказов общественного призрения. На протяжении пореформенного периода происходил постепенный отказ от изоляции больных в пользу более гуманных методов призрения и оказания медицинской помощи. Указано, что наиболее интенсивно сеть психиатрических учреждений на территории белорусских губерний стала развиваться в начале XX в. Это выразилось в открытии Виленской и Могилевской лечебниц. |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article describes the main trends in the evolution of assistance to mentally ill people on the territory of the Belarusian provinces in 1861–1914. It is noted that they were assigned the right to treatment in medical institutions that were part of the departments of public charity. During the post-reform period, there was a gradual rejection of isolation of patients in favor of more humane methods of charity and the provision of medical care. It is indicated that the most intensive network of psychiatric institutions on the territory of Belarusian provinces began to develop at the beginning of the 20th century. This was reflected in the opening of the Vilna and Mogilev hospitals. |
