| Abstract: | Аўтар у артыкуле разглядае дзяржаўна-прававы механізм ажыццяўлення знешняй палітыкі ВКЛ, а таксама знешнепалітычную дзейнасць Княства ў дачыненні да Расійскай дзяржавы ў апошняй трэці XVI ст. Нягледзячы на ўмовы Люблінскай уніі 1569 г., паводле якіх знешняя палітыка Рэчы Паспалітай павінна была стаць агульнай справай палякаў і літвінаў, ВКЛ і пасля 1569 г. адыгравала важную ролю ў фарміраванні і ажыццяўленні самастойнай знешняй палітыкі, што асабліва яскрава праяўлялася ў стасунках з Расійскай дзяржавай. |
| Abstract (in another language): | The institutional and legal frameworks for the pursuit of foreign policy in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania are considered, including policy towards the Russian state in the last third of the 16 th century. Notwithstanding the terms of the Lublin Union of 1569, whereby the foreign policy of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was to become a joint matter for Poland and Lithuania, the Grand Duchy continued to play a prominent role in the determination and pursuit of an autonomous foreign policy, which was most evident in its relationship with the Russian state. |
