| Abstract (in another language): | The results of the analysis of the use of the definitions of neologisms in the Belarusian print media are presented. The main types of explanations of potentially incomprehensible concepts for the audience in a journalistic text are considered. Conclusions are formulated regarding the functional diversity of the inclusion of definitions of borrowed tokens in media texts. |
