Abstract: The specificity of changes in the resistivity of n-germanium irradiated with gamma-quanta 60 Co before and after n → р conversion at the fixed temperatures under the application conditions of the mechanical compression stress along the basic crystallographic directions was investigated. For the [111] and [110] directions, the decrease in the specific resistance with increasing mechanical stress after passing the curves px/p0 = f (X) through the maxima in the temperature range, where a deep level of radiation defects appears, was detected. The dependence of the magnitude of maximum on the measurement temperature was revealed. It was established that when pressure is applied in the [100] direction, a maximum was not observed, but with decreasing temperature, the resistance decreases with increasing pressure. In the irradiated crystals after n → р conversion on the dependences px/p0 = f (X) in the region of low pressures, the sections of the resistance increase with subsequent passing of dependences through the maximum were revealed for all three directions. The physical explanation of the results obtained was presented.
