Abstract: The influence of ultrasound on the process of chemical reduction of silver ions with formic acid by optic spectroscopy, transition electronic microscopy and X-ray analysis was investigated. The possibility was found to form monodisperse sols of silver (CAg≥3,5*10-2 mol/l, d = 7nm, o=3 nm) from AgNO3 and formic acid solutions under ultrasonic treatment in the presence gelatin as a stabilizer.
