| Abstract: | The article describes the ideas of a post-modernist esthetics which are reflected in Russian culture of the last quarter of the XX century. Specific features of Russian musical postmodernism are investigated on the example of Chamber Symphony “Confessions” by N. Korndorf. Conceptual plan of the composition corresponds to the main ideas of postmodern culture. The subject of the researches are stylistic and genre features of the piece, it’s composition technique reflecting new postmodern conception of the categories of tradition and innovation |
