Политика Франции в сфере обороны и безопасности в 1990–2013 гг.

Abstract

The research work deals with the actual problem of the modern world – the maintenance of peace and security, the elaboration of national concept of security and defence. The object of the research – France – the country whose foreign defence policy is marked by the independent position, the development of nuclear capability in 1960’s and deterrence strategy. The former president Sarkozy made the reintegration of France in NATO. The present leader Holland continues this policy of counterbalancing national interests and US hegemony. The author analyzes two White papers on the defence and national security (2008, 2013). Moreover, in this research the author studies the report written by Hubert Vedrine about the effects of this reintegration
