Abstract: | The methods of physico-chemical and chemical modification of industrial polyacrylonitrile fibers to intensify their thermal oxidation have been developed. The influence of temperature-time exposure to changes in the content of «bound» nitrogen and physico-mechanical properties of thermal oxidation of polyacrylonitrile fibers has been examined.
