| Abstract: | This paper presents a system of demographic, socio-economic and environmental indicators to assess the sustainability of areas on the level of administrative-territorial units (ATU) of Vitebsk region. Typologies of stability degree in 2005 and 2010 are obtained by ranging method for each group of indicators. A complex evaluation of ATU stability of Vitebsk region is given based on them. The identification of the most problematic growth directions in each ATU of Vitebsk region and determination of measures to improve the situation are the results of this paper |
