| Abstract: | В статье рассмотрена проблема экономической зависимости стран Юго-Восточной Азии от Китайской Народной Республики, а также влияние КНР на текущие события в Южно-Китайском море. Проанализированы характерные особенности мягкой силы Китайской Народной Республики, выражающиеся в использовании экономических рычагов в продвижении политической воли Пекина. Приводятся факты и описываются случаи использования руководством КНР экономических рычагов с целью ослабления притязаний стран Юго-Восточной Азии на спорные районы Южно-Китайского моря. Выявлена и обоснована необходимость расширения экономических партнеров стран Юго-Восточной Азии и усиления регионального взаимодействия внутри Ассоциации государств Юго-Восточной Азии. Экономическая дипломатия Пекина рассматривается в качестве одного их главных инструментов в борьбе за острова. Дается оценка потенциальной угрозе интенсивного роста военно-политической и экономической мощи Китая. На основе проведенного исследования автором сделаны выводы и рекомендации относительно улучшения положения стран Юго-Восточной Азии и ослабления их экономической зависимости от КНР. Автор считает, что анализ экономической дипломатии КНР и ее влияния на безопасность Юго-Восточной Азии необходим для полного представления тенденций развития региона и подготовки дальнейшего курса Республики Беларусь в отношении стран ЮВА и Азиатско-Тихоокеанского региона в целом. |
| Abstract (in another language): | This article examines the problem of the Southeast Asian countries’ economic dependence on the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and its impact on current events in the South China Sea. The author tried to identify Chinese soft power characteristic features, which illustrate the use of economic levers in promoting Beijing political will. The author shows the facts and cases of economic levers usage by the management of the PRC with the aim of weakening the claims of the South-East Asian countries to the disputed areas of the South China Sea. The need to expand the economic portfolio of South-East Asian countries and enhance regional cooperation within ASEAN has been identified and justified. Economic diplomacy of Beijing is considered as one of the main tools in the struggle for the islands. An assessment of the potential threat of Chinese intensive growth in military-political and economic power is given. According to the research, the author made conclusions and recommendations concerning the improvement of situation countries in South-East Asia and the weakening of their economic dependence on the PRC. The author believes that the analysis of China's economic diplomacy and its impact on the South-East Asian regional security is necessary in order to understand a wide picture and trends in the development of the region. It is also important for the preparation of a further course of the Republic of Belarus towards the Southeast Asian countries and the Asia-Pacific region as a whole. |
