| Abstract: | В статье автор рассматривает роль и значение речки Лошицы в истории Полоцкого княжества и на основании сведений из смежных источников создает образ средневекового поселища в период движения викингов. Приводится оригинальная точка зрения современных историков на события зимы 1066—1067 годов. |
| Abstract (in another language): | In this article, the author examines the role and importance of the Loshitsa River in the history of the Polotsk principality and, based on information from related sources, creates an image of a medieval settlement during the Viking movement. The original point of view of modern historians on the events of the winter of 1066-1067 is given. |
