| Abstract: | В контексте анализа политики КНР в Центральной Азии рассматриваются причины, приведшие к возникновению Шанхайской организации сотрудничества. Делается вывод о том, что эта организация является логическим развитием усилий Китая по выработке такой модели интеграции Центральной Азии в мировые экономические и политические процессы. |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article studies the reasons leading to the establishment of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the context of Chinese strategy in Central Asia. The author concludes that the SCO is a logical development of Chinese efforts to offer a model of Central Asia's integration into world economy and policy that would be acceptable both for the local states and China as their neighbor. |
