Abstract: The aged aluminium alloys implanted with 710 MeV Bi+ ions fluenses 5*10’12 and 10’13 sm-2 was investigated by microhardness and friction measurements methods. Observed changes of mechanical properties are due to the phase and structure changes in ion beam modificated layers.
