| Abstract: | The paper contains the first data on species composition of nematodes encountered in the mantle cavity of the mollusc Dreissena polymorpha (Pallas, 1771) in Narochanskie Lakes. In zebra mussels from the lakes Batorino, Myastro and Naroch, 20, 10 and 10 species of worms were found, respectively. All were free-living organisms, which in norm are members of periphyton and/or benthos of fresh waterbodies. The commonest were species from the family Chromadoridae, particularly, Chromadorina bioculata (Schultze in Carus, 1857). For the first time in the waterbodies of the Former Soviet Union, we recorded the Eumonhystera pseudobulbosa (Daday, 1896). |
