| Abstract: | The development of the study of issues of the world general history by the scientists at BSU is analyzed in the article. It deals with the formation of scientific school in the fields of ancient history, oriental studies, Slav studies Russian history, new and modern history which were started by academicians N.M. Nikolsky, V.N. Pertsev V.l. Picheta. The present day situation of these schools, with BSU as their center, is characterized. |
