| Abstract: | In Belarus, mammals are associated with the carriers of pathogenic microorganisms of four non-transmissive diseases, namely: rabies, aphtous fever, hemorrhagic fever with a renal syndrome, lymphocytic choriomeningitis; and two transmissive diseases: tick-borne encephalitis and West Nile fever. The relationship of these agents with the vertebrates, special conditions of their survival, and circulation in their nidi in nature, are discussed. |
