Abstract: Analysis of contact and intergradation zones of bird subspecies in the territory of Belarus reveals 3 major types of their orientation: 1) western — eastern (3—4 species); 2) northern - southern (at least 12 species); 3) south-western-north-eastern (2 species). The paper presents characteristics of phenotype patterns and landscape connections in species of the first group.
