| Abstract: | It was inspected here the general dynamic city population of Belarus in the period 1897-1999. The analysis conducted indicates the persistence of the small town nature of the settlements structure accompanied by a notable development in the Iargesttowns (more than 100 000 people). Using complex indexes the author alloted 6 types districts, which different from each other of expensly concentration and dynamic of urbanisation processes. |
